1. Cartoon
As many of you know, I have been working on a cartoon since the summer. I plan on continuing forward with that again after taking a break due to finances. The cartoon, "The Allen Theories" takes bits of pieces from my life and imagination and is expressed in 2D form. I do not have all the materials I need at this point and while I am still in the rough draft stages, you can still expect to receive more information if not get a full first episode by this summer! At this point I am only sharing the title publicly because I have not copyrighted any material, so you will have to wait to hear the premise and see the characters.
You can actually anticipate a small thirty sec to a minute cartoon that I will be doing for a test run. It has nothing to do with, "The Allen Theories," but I thought it would be fun to do.
2. Santa Monica
Two weeks ago I performed a 10-15 minutes show I put together for 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. For those of you who do not know what 3rd Street Promenade is; it is a closed off strip where you can go shopping for clothes and food. Since it is closed off many performers like, singers, break dancers, artists of all kind go and street perform. I have put together my show and my first audience loved it. I still have some nuts and bolts to tie up but none-the-less it should be a great show. I use music from LMFAO, Tom Jones, Mario, MC Hammer, Michael Jackson, Dub Step.....basically its very entertaining to watch. My goal is to really push forward with my street performing this spring!
3. My Story in Motion
I am most excited about this announcement. As I have been performing with Consuming The Arts (CTA) Theatre Company I have been slowly sharing pieces of my story through dance. After receiving a great response from my last performance on "Vissions and Visionaries" it occurred to me to tell my story using dance as an element. So through this brainstorming process, I am not sure what it will look like exactly but I am planning on telling my story using dance, art and acting! In a few months I will then do the whole show. I am very excited about this because I get to use all my God given talents to tell you more about myself. The picture above was created after the commitment to telling my story. It is a small glimpse of my creative fluids working together and producing art that speaks to others.
4. Story Telling Together
None of this is possible with out your help. Many of you have believed with me and have supported me tremendously and without that support I would not be where I am today. I stand here completely grateful for your support. And I also stand here saying the journey has only just begun. Join my story, as I move forward, with your support. Your prayers are always needed in my life, I know first and foremost that is needs to happen. Secondly financially your support is needed also. This journey has not been easy for me, as I anticipated, and you can be apart of my journey by supporting me financially. Of course there are many other ways to get involved, just let me know if you are interested.
