In the years of refusing to do a blog, mainly because I am not a writer, I have finally gave in. I am not writing a blog to stay up with the latest trends, but I have felt compelled to start one because where life is taking me. I want to have purpose in having blog. I use to think that blogs were for gossip, complaining or to waste time. Now I take on a different perspective. While others do what they want with their blogs I hope to post writings that either A: Help others grow and mature or B: Challenge you, and me, in this journey we call life. I do not want this to be a gossip column, or a “what’s hot” journal, my desire is to speak truth, even when its least wanted.
Blogs have inspired me greatly to persevere through life. I follow and read the blogs of outstanding leaders of our time, because I want to learn from them. God uses the their words to change my life and help me grow. Like wise, I look to do the same thing with my followers and readers. I am not the end all know all solution to life, thank God, but I hope that you can learn from me and my thoughts as I succeed and fail.
I hope that I can paint a picture for you with my words, in order to look at the bigger picture and not just the here and now.
