"People say live life as if it is your last day, I say live life as if it is your first day."
My most impactful moments have taken place with a paint brush in my hand, bringing life to a blank canvas through colors and shapes. One brush stroke at a time the big picture is painted, the big picture that only the painter can see. To me a blank canvas opens up a world of opportunities. Whatever I imagine I can draw. Just like life, whatever I put my mind to I can accomplish. I consider my art table my moment of peace and meditation; life around me fades away and my art becomes all I know. And I consider life to be a blank canvas ready to be full of colors and shapes.
This section of my blog, artist spotlight, cannot disclose all of who I am, but it can give you an brief understanding who I am. I love to have fun and enjoy the moment, but I am also someone who lives with purpose. I do not like to go through life aimlessly, but driven with passion. I strongly believe that: "Everyone dies, but not everyone lives" -Braveheart
Then:
I was born in Bronx, New York living there till I was eight. Some say that's not long enough to claim it as my home town, others understand that the first few years of your upbringing shape a lot of who you are. Call it what you want, but I will say this; I saw and experienced enough to not want to be a product of New York's broken environment. In the same mindset my parents moved out of New York to Grand Rapids, Michigan (The question as to, "why Michigan?" still boggles my mind.) None the less, Michigan became my new home. I was fortunate enough to receive solid mentors and be raised in a great home. I cannot be more thankful for the people God has placed in my life.
....Years later I attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, a college focused on Ministry for those seeking to do ministry. I felt led to this school after experiencing broken friendships and the need for God's good news. I graduated with a Pastoral Ministry degree, but most importantly I grew to know God more and my true identity is found in him.
Now:
Call me artsy, but I cannot deny that I love every element of art (Hence the theme of my blog). Today I consider myself an actor, dancer, painter, cartoonist, writer, producer, editor, graphic designer...and so much more. After college, the artsy side of me re-entered my life for good. I currently live in Los Angeles pursuing my passion in acting and dancing. My degree still plays a big role in my life and I am involved with small ministries here in Los Angeles.
Future:
We will have to see where the future takes me but I plan on being part of big films and taking my acting and dancing career to the professional level.
I hope you can suport me through the next few years in my life. Better yet, I ask that you pray for me as I continue forward.
