Career Blogging

One might say that I have become obsessed with blogging. I say that I am taking advantage of the opportunities available for me through blogging. What I mean is this, blogging can be used for more than just entertainment or gossip talk. The last thing I want is my blog to be looked at as a joke or a gossip corner. Blogging to me brings new ideas, encouraging words and can express what is on my heart.

Thanks to a recent post by CNN: Blog Your Way to a Better Career I have found a new way to use my blog. The article states that those who blog tend to be further ahead in the career path than those who do not. If you are like me you are questioning this study and wondering where they got their information. Well after reading through the whole article it actually made sense. As for me, I decided to start up a new blog: What's New Googler. It is an unofficial blog on the product and services from Google. If you know me you know that I really enjoy google products and I would love to work at Google someday. Google is one of the greatest working environments world wide and my goal is to be a part of that in the future. So my new blog will serve the purpose of introducing new Google products and services to the public and sharing my opinion on the product or service

Blogs can used creatively in any work field, for example a teacher can continue to teach through her blogs to her students or get her students to write more through blogs. Churches or ministers can share devotionals or theology through blogs. Photographers can display their work and musicians their music. Blogging can have purpose for everyone not just gossip and entertainment.
