This past weekend I had the privilage of watching my roommate Johan speak at the TEDx Youth day conference in Monterey, CA.  He did a great job delivering truth about the voices we listen to in our lives.

Although there were many great speakers who stood in front of TEDx Youth Day one girl in particular encouraged me. Her name is Kendall, she is a junior in high school and her goal is to build a house before graduating. Thats right, a HOUSE.... I was encouraged through her zeal and creativity. Her ideas come to life because she is dedicated to her dreams. Starting from a young age she began to build things which led her with the desire to build homes for homeless.

Sometime I wonder if were that devoted to what I do, how much more I can do. Sometimes I hold myself back because of fear of what others will say, rather than taking what I know and believe and running 100 miles per hour with it.  Like Kendall we should pursue our passions and serve others.
